God Pretender

Plot is about a master and disciple pair of travellers that are crossing a desert/wasteland and find a remote village. At the inn, there is an array of other travellers including a warrior, a mother and son and a monk. Dried bodies, water that wards off monsters and the villagers suspicious activity begin a series of events which reveal the villages dark truth. This also sets a plot of war between races and clans further into motion between humans and vampires (not the sparkly kind, these are tribal and go around in UFOs.) This work won the Best Art Award at the Asia Issued Comics Summit in 1999.
